i started this cleansing program just 3 days ago. several review on amazon have rated this item poorly due to constipation/breaking out etc. what you absolutely MUST do while taking this product is DRINK DRINK DRINK! even before this program, i drink between 1-2 gallons of water per day. i have not had any constipation issues a my body is properly hydrated. its individuals not drinking enough that are complaining. you HAVE to drink enough water. simply, take your weight in pounds, divide by 2 and that is the number you should drink in ounces per day. for example, a 150lb individual would drink 75 ounces of water per day. i have started breaking out since taking this product. our skin is another pathway for toxins to come out. its the body's way of purging waste. its not pretty or fun, but it is temporary and worth it in the long run. i still have 27 days to go but i already 10x better than i did before i started this program. i have only done 1 or 2 reviews on amazon but i like this product so much i thought i should review it especially since there are so many negatives on this site. try this program, you wont regret it.

5 out of 5 stars 30-Day Advanced Cleanse Means 30-Day -- duh -- ADVANCED Cleanse   October 22, 2008

I'm a muscular, reasonably-healthy and athletic (37 YO) male who did this very cleanse, and I felt pretty ill over the first few days. It was like having a mild flu, and symptoms I actually expected, but they went away. You also have to follow a strict diet, which means you only eat certain foods and avoid many others. The diet also means no alcohol, smoking, coffee, etc. AS YOU ARE CLEANSING YOUR BODY.

It is absolutely amazing seeing how many people give up because something's not quick enough or because there's some discomfort, or because (insert whining) "I want my coffee in the morning -- wahhhhhhh." When you opt to do a cleanse, any DECENT cleanse mind you, and it's the first time you're doing it, YOU MIGHT FEEL A BIT "OFF". It doesn't matter if you claim to eat healthy or live a healthy lifestyle when all modern products and conveniences contain seeds of toxicity. Make a choice: either suck it up and finish what you start or find something milder on your system, but don't slam a good product simply because you wimped out and didn't follow the directions.

Case in point:. I just read a blog where a young man about to use this very product posted this question: "Can I smoke and still cleanse?"

The only reply is to pose this question: "Do fish get thirsty?"

1 out of 5 stars Toxic?   July 17, 2007

I used the original CleanseSMART 'advanced cleanse' kit for five days as directed, with a mid-day supplement of OilSMART and FiberSMART as suggested in the product insert. The feeling of toxicity came on within two days along with a *decreased* regularity and mild diarrhea. I couldn't get myself to keep taking the pills with how I bad felt. And with others frequently asking me whether I was feeling alright, I must not have looked that well either...

I have had a very healthy lifestyle and diet for decades and can't explain the results based on any high level of accumulated toxins being released. The natural ingredients included in this product's formulation may just be toxic to some people including, unfortunately, me.
